Christina from AJ Landscapes (a local business here in Sterling) spent today giving us the benefit of her landscaping expertise. Christina gave us some advice on low-maintenance and drought-resistant plantings, and she (and her daughters!) helped us move and re-plant some of the shrubs around the memorial.

Christina is also the proud Mom of a US airman serving in Alaska :-)
