Troop 955

Troop 955 is an all-girl troop, and part of Scouts BSA.
All girls ages 11-17 are welcome.
We're located in Sterling, Virginia, and chartered by American Legion Post 150 (Sterling, Virginia).


As of March 2020 (in this time of COVID), Troop 955's weekly meetings will be outdoors.

First Class Requirement 7a.

Discuss when you should and should not use lashings. Then demonstrate tying the timber hitch and clove hitch and their use in square, shear, and diagonal lashings by joining two or more poles or staves together.

First Class Requirement 7b.

Use lashing to make a useful camp gadget.
